I don't think anything is exclusively any one gender's fault. There are men who don't hold to the standard, and there are women trying to change it, and there are men and women who don't do squat about it.
ReplyDeleteThese are generalities, and it's different in different parts of different societies. Where I live, it's quietly considered "lower-class" and "uneducated" to be openly anti-gay. Which is both open-minded and shows a completely different prejudice altogether.
